How Empty Leg Flights Work
Understanding Empty Legs
It is estimated that approximately 40% of all private jet flights are operated empty. This usually occurs when an aircraft positions from one job to the next, or simply returns to base after completing a mission.
Empty legs offer the same luxury experience at a fraction of the price. It's the smart way to fly private.
How Empty Legs Arise
Empty legs arise when unavoidable vacant slots occur in an aircraft schedule that has already been booked by a client, known as the Principal Charter. Prices are heavily discounted because the Principal Charter retains control of availability and has, in effect, subsidized the empty sector cost.
🇨🇦 Now Including Canada!
We're excited to announce that our empty leg services now cover Canadian destinations including Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, and more. Take advantage of incredible savings on flights to and from Canada in 2026.
Important Considerations
If the Principal Charter's arrangements change, we may have to cancel an empty leg flight booking if it can no longer be accommodated. In such circumstances we would endeavor to make alternative, mutually agreeable arrangements for you. However, we cannot be held liable for any additional charges or consequential losses incurred as a result.
⚠️ Availability Notice
Empty legs offer astonishing value-for-money but continuing availability cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, prior to booking, there is a need to consider carefully if an empty leg solution is the right one for you.
Our team is available 24/7 to help you make the right decision to meet your requirements.
